Okay this is my latest addiction.. making my own crocheted flowers, my mom started me out with a lesson and made some flowers for me. I then decided instead of bugging her I would do my own and this is what I did yesterday , oh I am so happy with the results. I want to make more, I just have to get more different coloured threads. I am just loving how it looks on a layout and here is what I did on mine. I also made those felt bubbles as well. OH Happy Day!!!

let's face it
I was on visiting some of my favourite blogs and Nicole from The Lumpy PageDesigns. She did a fabulous card using the Martha Stewart Hydrangea Punch, I just had to try this out for myself, I didn't do a card but thought I would use it in a layout inslpired by Ali Edwards.. at least my version . Here it is done in greens, purples, brown and some pnk and purple bling.
Have a great day TFL.

Project 365- week 3
This week we did alot of cutting and cropping.. loving the downloads that Becky Higgins left on her blog for the journaling tags. Sydney had a great time stamping with some of her new stamps this week , she managed to make her brother a little card.
Got caught playing the Nintendo DS.. Sydney took that photo really good for a three year old, she just loves taking pictures and is always holding my camera for a good shot.
Alex baring the very cold weather this week -25 some days, but he came home cold but safe.. I made sure I had some hot chocolate waiting for him after school.
Some great yummy meals and a visit to Grammie's and Papa's house. My mom made me some crocheted flowers to scrapbook with and taught me to crochet . I am not so good but I will keep trying. The only great thing is that on Sunday it snowed and my husband and son were all giddy to go out and plow everyones driveway. They crack me up, but it is their fun. I did manage to take a photo of Alex plowing one of the neighbours driveway.. but we will see that next week.
This is such a fun project and I am getting alot of inspiration out there from so many people. Everyone has such great ideas and yu can check out alot of them on Becky's Blog Hoping to get some good shots of different going on's this week. Stay tuned.. week 4 is just around the corner.. the weeks are going by so fast.

Project 365... week 2
This is week two of my Project 365... Thankyou to Becky Higgins for the free download of some of the journaling tags.. I did them in colour and grey tones as well so this way i can colour some of them in with different colours sticking to the same colour theme. I just love the look of them. I had to crop them to make them fit for the wallet size but that was not hard to do and this way I can take them to costco and run them off on sheets to fit wallets. Nine per sheet that is great. It will save on alot of photo paper. I did start off printing them myself on my printer until I can get out to Costco later this week.Already out of ink.. I need to get more colour ink this week too for my photo's.
This is such a fun project and even Sydney is liking to take photo's to go inside the album.. so take a look and see our second week in the album. I am going to check out some bloggers to see how they are doing as well. At wescrap some of us are doing this project as well and they all look great.Way too much fun!!!

White on White
Today I thought that I wouldn't mind trying something different( stepping out of the box). I am so wanting to do something with White on White, but never knowing what to do. Since I was lucky enough to have the cuttlebug and all these fantastic embossing plates and dies I thought why not do a layout with it. I have been doing cards but not a layout. So here it is White on White, I love it. I need to experiment more and this cuttlebug it is just wonderful. I am having too much fun everyday using it.
ABBA

For this layout I made a tag for the journaling and tucked it inside the bottom photo, this way the layout will remain clean with the white.
This is my daughter.. she just loves HighSchool Musical but is loving the Abba videos and music since she saw the Mamma Mia movie in the summer. This is one of the videos she is constantly watching and all we ever listen to in the car.

a few cards
I got a Cricut Create on New Years Eve from my husband and the kids. You can do so much with just one machine, it is amazing so I promised myself this year that I would make at least 5 cards a month and wow does this machine ever help.. It is so simple and with the cuttlebug I got for Christmas you can make it look so different. These are just a couple of cards I made .I think in time I will advance in this area of scrapbooking cardmaking... I love how they turned out. Here they are..

December Daily Album... 15th - 25th.
Well I am finally posting the rest of My Daily December Album... it is just suppose to go up to December 25th but I will have to find a bigger ring to add the remaining days. I finished up to December 25th and this is a very big album... 6 more pages and I don't think it would fit. Not sure where to find those "D" rings but I will try, if any of you know where just leave me a post please. So have a look and tell me what you think, I love how it turned out but for next year I will do it alittle differently, maybe a 5X7 album, I will work on it during the summer so I can be ready for next Christmas. So here are the remaining pages from December 15th to December 25th.
Enjoy

Week of: December 28th - January 3rd
Well I am hoping this is the beginning of a great adventure to improve my photography, Project 365 is about taking a photo everyday of anything you like, from your family to garbage in the streets..it doesn't matter. Of course I love taking photos of my family and I will have to venture out and come out of the box and take photo's of different subjects..It will take some time but I am willing to start today. Here is my cover binder..I love the numbers I made with my new Cricut machine.
The Cover Binder

This is my cover page.. I don't really want to bulk it up. Hope it stays this way throughout the album.

This is the first week of Project 365..I am liking it, I got those day of the week stamps this summer in Campbellford Ontario, now I can finally use them.

I am liking the look of this, I am also loving looking at all the blogs that are doing the same project. It is exciting being a part of something so big.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Project 365...starts now
Okay so I am alittle late at this but wow is everyone doing this , I think so. One photo a day for 365 days..sounds easy, or is it? Well for me, and my kids and husband will confirm I take way more than one a day.. they only wish I would stick to less than 500 a month...so this project is right up my alley.
I know there are alot of kits out there and I am hoping eventually I will get my hands on one of them for next year. This year with some great inspiration from Becky Higgins and her kit that I would love to purchase but is sadly sold out ...I am hoping they will get more by the end of the month...but enough about what I can't have just yet.
I have decided to do mine of course by using my noggin..and I thought as usual what do I have in the house that no one is using and like a light that goes off in my head..."oh my husband has those empty plastic sheets that he keeps baseball card in." It has 9 pockets and fits a wallet size photo perfectly..so there it is now I just need 53 of them...and guess what he had all that I needed. Now for the decorative part of it well I got the surprise of my life ,other than my babies, on the 31st of December...oh yes a Cricut Create..with 6 different cartridges...man I am so in love with my family and that wonderful man I married 21 years ago. So I will be able to make so many things to add in the pockets. I am also using a different sheet of 12x12 patterened paper for every week that I will cut and ink in the wallet size as well so each week will be look professional. and for the months of the year I am cutting reusable plastic to the size I need adding binder holes and stamping the month to seperate the plastic sheets.. I am so excited about this project and I am looking forward to joining alot of people and seeing their ideas..I will not be posting a photo a day but will be posting the week that is done. So tomorrow will be my first post of last week...It is just to late to take a proper photo. It is getting late but I was just wanting to start blogging for now.
Have a good one.
