Technique classes... on wescrap

So I joined an online tequnique class and last night was our first online chat.. I
have never been in a chat room before, it was so much fun talking to everyone and I learned alot. We are going to meet every Sunday night for a few weeks. Tonight I am doing another class that should be just a great. Our teacher is brilliant (Jessica Acs), she is teaching us how to do some different techniques with instructions... love the step by step photo's. I am such a visual person so photo's really help. Well here is the first on many we are suppose to try. I picked the one I had all the supplies for.Tonight I have to go get the supplies I don't have. I did this on a tag... and just loved how it turned out.. I might do the whole class on tags to make an album..
here it is...

Criss Cross using staples... and ribbon stapled on tags

the butterflys are actually tattoos i just rubbed them on.

I also stapled the felt flower and added some bling

... can't wait to try the others... TFL

Another Feast...

Oh my I am so full, This year we went to my sister's house for Thanksgiving... and what a beautiful home..5600 square feet. I loved it. IT was actually the best location for our family functions... seeing that there are about 38 of us..BIG FAMILY!! The food was outstanding and plenty of different dishes for everyone to try. Got some leftovers that we will be eating this week for sure. I just love being with my family... we have such a colourful, funny time together. The kids are all growing up so much and we even have another child just waiting to be born. This is the time of year that I love spending time cherishing moments with the people that I love so very much. gushy I know...but that is me..

MY brother and his beautiful and pregnant Danni...

Thanksgiving Weekend at the Cottage... beautiful

It was such a beautiful weekend to celebrate Thanksgiving.. the weather was warm and the colours of fall were spectactular... We had such a great time going to visit family and the kids really enjoyed it all. It was so nice walking on the shore of the lake this time of year. We actually got to play in the sand. The forest by Roger's brothers house was wonderful... my favourite part of the trip was the colours just waiting for my camera to grab some shots.

and to top that my dear mother-in law made a wonderful meal ... delicious...now on to my families celebration.
Happy Thanksgiving... to all
hugs Angie

In Scrapbooking Glory!!

Well a funny thing happened to me last week, I was looking for a scrapbooking store ( at least what I thought was a store) and ended up at a scrapbooking wholesaler... and to my delight and surprise she let us buy her merchandise straight from her back warehouse... I was really tight for time and only bought a few things that day, and was told to come back for a better look and she gave me the catalogue to look at at home. So all week I am looking and can't seen to decide what I want.. because I want everything!!! Well today we went back... and shopped, shopped , shopped... and alot of money later... We ended up with tons of great product. I was very happy that I made a dozen scones to carry with me to say thank you. What a very overwhelming day, full of excitement. I can't wait to start some new projects. Oh , and they are going to send me emails on when they have a public sale... sometime in November! I can't wait.... oh and did I tell you I got to meet the creator.. Yes, Melissa Frances herself... man I wish I had my camera! Maybe next time. Here is a few photo's of my new and exciting buy!!
