Something differents for my friends to see.. FWF!!

Okay I have been wanting to experiment with canvas, stamps and paper.. very Donna Downey inspired... you know a girl has to play! Well I played and love the colours of this project, I will do some more maybe for gifts for my nieces.Tell me what do you think?
This is going to be one of the projects that I am going to get some of my daughters friends to do at her birthday party next weekend. We are having an Arts and Crafts party with a couple of projects for them to do and take home, this will be one of them, with their own Flair of course!! Today we are off to get some supplies and maybe a decoration or two for the holidays.

Week # 3, Challenge #77 sketches.. Simply Scrapping

Here is the card and layout sketch we did on Simply Scrapping. I wanted to do some K&Company(Marcella) and Sassafrass for the layout , because I just love the bright colours they have in their kits.This was a fun sketch to do, and there is still time this month to get into the challenges, just drip by the forum and see the postings, and also check out the blog as well. We have our Guest Designers of the week posted there. I am loving my time as Simply Scrapping, they are all so friendly and even some of my scrappy friends from wescrap have joined in the fun. This week Dawn was featured, I just love her layouts. Monique was also featured some great layouts as well. Congrats girls. Now to go work on next weeks sketch challenges.
Today I also made some really cute felties as well, had to do something creative with my time and wanted to do some felties for some upcoming projects and it will be a nice gift to give out to some of my friendsin their cards.

A Couple of Cards

I have been busy making cards and these are just a few of the new ones that I have done. I just love the papers and the images, some are Unity stamps, some are digital stamps by Mo Manning ,stamping up and some are from the Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly kit. I am sure I will be making more for christmas for my Mom to give away this year and for myself. I am loving all the great paper lines out there for Christmas and would love them all!!
I also want to make an advent calendar and that is my next project starting next week, I am hoping I can go to Michaels this week to check out some supplies, I have some ideas but if you know of any more leave me a comment and a link and I would love to check it out.

Craft show experience

Well I had my first craft show experience and was disappointed in the turn out but the experience was a good one. I really thought I would do better than I did seeing that previously I had sold so many of my crafts and cards. I know people liked what I did but I think it was the wrong items for this area. Most of them were women looking for items for themselves and cards just wasn't one of them, I did manage to make a little , at least cover the cost of the table but that was more than some of the participants made that were there, very grateful for that at least. I don't think I will be doing another one, I do prefer the one on one that I have with my family and friends,and will be hoping to give some as gifts this year. I know alot of my friends want to to home classes and that is the route I will go. I only got one photo and here it is. The experience was a good one and was glad I didn't get lost and made it home with my son in one piece. Well onto the next project. Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Mosh Posh Blog Party, And Giveaways.!!! Woo Hoo

Yep, it's that time again. Time for all you Mosh Poshers to join them for a TWO WEEK Blog Party. They have lots of fun stuff planned. They're going to have challenges (better get those creative juices flowing), DT Blog Hops, Giveaways and Prizes, fun projects to spotlight from both our Design Team and our members!! Woot woot.
